At Limoneira Company, visitors experience the look, feel and wonderful aromas of a working citrus and avocado ranch. Tours include a look back on more than 120 years of farming history at Limoneira's Santa Paula orchards while introducing visitors to 21st Century sustainable agricultural. The sustainable portion of the tours includes a visit to our 5.5 solar orchard (where our miniature sheep happily keep weeds down around the solar panels).
Guests can spend an hour or two at the ranch taking in the working ranch experience. Tours are flexible to meet your group's needs and can be combined or customized to include a delicious lunch provided by a locally-owned restaurant (inquire for details).
Tours are appropriate for all ages. Guests should wear comfortable shoes; bring jackets or sweaters (on cold days) and sunscreen, hat and sunglasses (on warm days). Do to packinghouse guidelines, it is required that guests wear closed toe shoes, jewellery be removed, loose/dangling clothing should be secure or left behind, no food or drinks are allowed in the packinghouse and a hat or hair net will need to be worn at all times when in the packinghouse. We will provide hair nets.
