Putting the words "gourmet" and "truck" in the same sentence isn't a natural fit for a lot of people.

But the idea has been catching on, so much so that several Ventura County organizations and promoters combined the food truck phenomenon with local produce and sports to create the first Food Truck and Bocce Ball Festival at the Limoneira ranch in Santa Paula. They hope the event gains traction to feed the hungry in Ventura County.
