Since the turn of the last century, Limoneira Company has been involved in commercial and residential sectors of the Heritage Valley and beyond.   Commercial properties range from office buildings to retail gas and food operations. This steady income flow has proved very valuable for the company when the agricultural industry experiences normal, periodic downturns.  

Our residential properties include both for-sale and rental operations. Our for-sale sector includes development in California and Arizona. We continue to seek opportune investments when appropriate. Our rental operations have been in service for more than 100 years. Long ago, we believed that any business, particularly agriculture, could not survive without the best people to make it operate. With that in mind, Limoneira was one of the first agricultural employers to provide employee housing at no cost or at drastically reduced rates.  

To this day, that heritage rings true. With 200 homes for families of our ag workers and with plans in the works to begin to build another 92 beginning in 2007, Limoneira remains committed to investing in those that perform the hard, necessary work that agriculture demands.
