Jack-O-Lantern Cocktail
The Jack-O-Lantern cocktail is a traditional favorite in October, and adds a warm touch to any festive party with its base of cognac and Grand Marnier. A dash of cinnamon around the rim adds another dimension to this tasty drink.

- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 ounces cognac
- 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
- 1 ounce fresh Limoneira® orange juice
- 2 ounces ginger ale
- Limoneira® Lime twist for garnish
- Limoneira® Orange slice for garnish
Use a wedge of lime to run around the rim of an old fashioned glass.
Measure the cinnamon onto a small plate, and rim the glass.
Add ice to a cocktail shaker, and measure in the cognac, Grand Marnier, and orange juice. Shake.
Add new ice to the cinnamon-rimmed glass, and strain the cocktail over the ice.
Top with ginger ale.
The trademark garnish for this delicious Halloween cocktail is the large orange slice, the "pumpkin" garnish. Cut the "stem" from the skin of a lime, and stick it in the middle.
