Ingredients

Cold Brew Coffee

  • 1 cup whole coffee beans
  • 4 cups water

Citrus Iced Coffee

  • 1 cup cold brew coffee
  • 1/2 cup Limoneira® orange juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup Limoneira® lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

Cold Brew Coffee

  • Grind the coffee to a coarse (not fine) texture. You should end up with slightly less than 1 cup of ground coffee.
  • Add the coffee to a large carafe or other container you can refrigerate.
  • Pour the water on top of the coffee, and stir only gently with a long spoon or spatula to make sure the coffee is thoroughly saturated with the water.
  • Cover the carafe, and refrigerate for 12 hours.
  • When it’s ready, strain the coffee with cheesecloth over a large bowl.
  • It will keep in the fridge for up to a week (you’ll have enough for about 4 recipes of coffee lemonade)

Citrus Iced Coffee

  • Combine all the ingredients in a jar or cocktail shaker and shake until blended.
  • Serve with ice.

Notes

Note: The cold brew coffee takes 12 hours to sit, so be patient for this two-day project.
